Malaysia Airlines is offering one-way fares to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for $205 including tax on its ‘Get-a-Deal’ site this weekend, for travel between 18 July and 31 December. The amazing thing about this sale is that it goes right into the Christmas peak period! Please note that you will have to book the return leg separately in order to get this deal.

In so much as navigating the ‘Get-a-Deal’ site deserves its own post, here’s the skinny on how to get this fare:

1. Sign up to MAS ‘Get-a-Deal’ (note: I don’t think selecting a specific group makes much of a difference)
2. Once that’s done, log-in using your credentials on the blue right-hand panel
3. Select the “International” button
4. Click “Australia” to see the Perth deal
5. Click on your desired departure date. You will be redirected to a booking screen.
6. Select “One Way” and “My dates are flexible” and input your departure details again (ie. Perth to KL, date of departure)
7. Hit “Search”, select your fare and book!
